A safe place to begin
Most people arrive carrying something they've been managing alone for a long time. You don't need the right words, a diagnosis, or a plan. You only need a place where it's safe to say the true thing out loud.
From the first conversation, therapy here is collaborative and judgment-free. We move at your pace. I'll listen closely, ask careful questions, and help you understand what keeps repeating — then we build something steadier together.
“I believe every person already carries inner wisdom and the capacity to change. My role is to help you reconnect with those strengths.”

Meet Christopher
I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor providing virtual therapy for adults and couples in Vermont and New Hampshire. I help people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and the deeper patterns that keep them stuck — so they can feel calmer, more confident, and more like themselves again.
My approach is integrative, collaborative, and strength-based. I draw from evidence-based methods including CBT, EMDR, mindfulness, DBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and ACT, always tailored to you. I believe every person already carries inner wisdom and the capacity to change. My role is to help you reconnect with those strengths, break free from old patterns, and move toward a life that feels more peaceful and meaningful.
I've worked in the mental health field for many years — in crisis intervention, life skills coaching, clinical case management, agency settings, and private practice. I've provided virtual therapy since 2018 and moved to a full-time online practice in 2021. Sessions are confidential, judgment-free, and built around you.
I live in the mountains of central Vermont. Outside of work, you'll usually find me outdoors with my family, writing, drawing, meditating, or practicing martial arts.
Therapeutic approach
Rather than fitting you into a single model, we work with whatever actually helps — present-oriented, strength-based, and decided together as we go.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Noticing the thoughts behind the feeling, and practicing new ways of responding.
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing
Helping the nervous system finish processing what it never got to put down.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Concrete skills for intense emotion, distress tolerance, and steadier relationships.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy
Making room for difficult feelings while moving toward what matters to you.
Mindfulness-Based Practice
Coming back to the present moment with less judgment and more choice.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
Building on the strengths and small wins that are already working in your life.
How online therapy works
New to virtual therapy? It's more ordinary than it sounds — a private link, a quiet room, and a conversation that feels the same as sitting across from someone.
1Send a message through the form or start directly on Headway or Rula. No long intake process to get a first conversation going.
2We find a time that fits your week. Most people begin with weekly sessions and adjust as things progress.
3We build a plan that fits you — practical tools you can use right away, alongside the deeper work.
“I came in not really knowing how to explain what was wrong. I never once felt rushed or judged, and somehow the words came anyway.”
Placeholder reflections shared while real client feedback is collected. Therapy is confidential and no client is identified here.

Booking through Headway or Rula runs your benefits before the first session, so you know your rate up front — no surprise invoices.
Self-pay rates are $160 individual, $200 for couples.
Pricing & insurance

If something isn't answered here, send a message — I'm glad to talk it through before you book anything.
All sessions are held securely by video from the comfort of your home. You'll receive a private link before your appointment. It works just like an in-person session — we can see and hear each other clearly, and everything remains fully confidential.
Yes. Research shows telehealth therapy is just as effective as traditional in-person counseling for most concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many clients prefer the convenience and comfort of meeting from home.
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. You'll share what's bringing you to therapy, and I'll listen without judgment. We'll discuss your goals, answer any questions you have, and begin creating a plan that feels right for you.
Sessions typically last 50–55 minutes. Most clients begin with weekly appointments, then adjust the frequency as progress is made.
Everyone's journey is different, but many people notice positive changes within the first few sessions. You'll leave with practical tools you can start using right away.

No. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I provide talk therapy and do not prescribe medication. If medication may be helpful, I can discuss options and help connect you with a prescriber if needed.
I work with adults and couples facing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship challenges, stress, low self-esteem, life transitions, and the underlying patterns that keep people stuck.
